For the release of singer-songwriter Paola's debut EP “Bric à brac”, music label Play Two contacted me to produce six videos to promote it on social media. To tease out this first EP, the idea was to create a visual universe around the cover image photographed by Gabrielle Riouah a few months earlier.
I then imagined an apartment in which each song would be a room: the bedroom for the song “KO” about cyber-bullying, the living room for the song “Ma gueule” about the artist's relationship with her image, the laundry room for the song "Chiffon" about a toxic love affair, the kitchen for the song "Nougatine" about falling in love and the bathroom for the song "Belle" about self-esteem.
For each song, I produced an animated visual based on AI-generated images, in which decorative elements recall the song's lyrics. The lyrics were integrated in a playful way, to help people discover the songs in a different way. A final visual showing the apartment's front door and hallway reveals the EP's cover, name and release date, inviting listeners to enter Paola's world.
